The Tin Violin

A play for all of the family, it tells the adventures of Joseph Antonio Emidy a slave born in West Africa in 1775. He later became a famous celebrated Cornish violinist and composer.

Tom Wilkinson's 'Sea Themes' organ recital will include Allegro Risoluto (from the Plymouth Suite) by Percy Whitlock and Hornpipe Humoresque by Noel Rawsthorne(based on the Sailor's Hornpipe). These will be played on the world famous Willis Organ.
