Explore Falmouth Lifeboat Station
Saturday 24th- Saturday 31st May,
10.00am-4.00pm

An oportunity to get a real insight into the working of the RNLI and go onboard one of its £2 million Severn Class Lifeboats.
Volunteer Guides will show you around the lifeboat station which houses the Falmouth's Atlantic 75 Inshore Lifeboat before taking you down onto the pontoon.

Tours take 30-60minutes

Mylor Yacht Club - Try A Boat

Mylor Yacht Club members are offering 'informal taster
sessions' of about 1 hour on the water, aboard their
boats, every day of the festival. Mylor Yacht Club, based at
Mylor harbour has an enviable reputation for being amongst
the friendliest of yacht clubs in the U.K. Keen to promote
all forms of sail and motor boat activity in the area, the club
has racing and cruising sections. This event provides an
opportunity to learn what the club and area can provide.

An opportunity to sail in historic Truro River Oyster Dredger, built in 1891 and recently renovated courtesy of Heritage Lottery Fund. Sailing in sheltered waters of Carrick Roads and Falmouth Harbour. Participate in Cornwall's maritime heritage.

Charity Gig Race
Sunday 1st June, 3.45pm

In aid of Cornwall Rape and Sexual Abuce Centre. A spectator boat is available departing from the Trelissick pontoon at 3pm. The event can be watched from Tolverne or the stone quay at King Harry Ferry. Beer and pasties are available on the ferry. All proceeds go to charity. Beer kindly sponsored by Skinners Brewery.
